A person may be aware of the proxy sites but would not have experienced in using the same. There are many sites that offer the proxy services on the internet.

Nowadays many educational institutions attribute for the free wireless access of the internet. The main difficulty in these networks is its limited access. In some cases, many sites that are useful cannot be accessed as the same is banned by the administrator of the network.

Under this circumstance the only option that is available is to choose the proxy sites from where easy access can be gained to those useful sites. When the proxy server is used to visit these sites, the server in the educational institutions will not be able to track the same. They will be in a position to get the information regarding the number of visits made to the URL with the proxy site.

The next benefit that can be derived from the proxy sites is that the records that are browsed will be kept on the same computer from where the browsing was undertaken. The browser on the internet will note all the addresses that are typed on it. This is mainly because of the addresses typed out by the user on the address bar. The details regarding the browsing period will not be stored on the computer.

One more advantage in using the proxy server is that the movement of the user on the internet cannot be traced by the third party. This is mainly because they will be in a position to get the details of the IP address of the proxy and not of the user of the computer. Thus when the user uses different proxies for each and every session of browsing, the trackers will get confused due to the different IP addresses.
